Hey -? so helpful! I didn’t think I could do it myself – I’m a 28 year-old woman who just bought my first car (city dweller!), a 1999 E39. Failed inspection for a cracked lens in the headlight assemblage. Mechanic wanted to charge me $600 just for labor and another one grand(!) for the part. Followed your excellent instructions and no problems. Thank you!

@mercedes300ETURBO this is completely? finished. most cars do not use the “extra wires” if you do need them im guessing it probly still only takes about an hour. its a simple job that anyone can do even if you have never worked on cars before

any links for the Halo light installation on the E30? I’m assuming I have? to splice in to my driving lights to get them on?? I recently purchased a E30 and they have the Halo Lights installed but the angle eyes are not plugged in to anything. They seem like the same model you have. Any information would be appreciated. Thx!

Depo makes a? great light but the angel eye feature includes a wire harness that plugs into who knows what so you splice into the corner markers which makes them turn on but they are very dim and dissapointing so don’t waste your money.

Damn thats a good look. I got a e36 m3 and i got to switch the headlights now. and i tried? fixing the radiator bar type thing and i had to take the whole front off the car and now my corner light aren’t going in all the way. i tried to adjust the three bolts on top of the headlight and the bolt down in the hole to the far left but it just cant go all the way in. you know how i can get that all the way in? cause it looks like junk with it out like that

You should remove the cowl before doing this install. Will make your job/life a lot easier.
For those asking what a cowl is, the big plastic piece between the headlights that? he bent back to reach the bolt near the front grills.
Simple remove a few bolts and it slips up and off, just watch the tube connected to the alternator.
